Job Descriptions
GUI Software Engineer responsible for implementing solutions for law enforcment. The ideal candiate will have the following related experience.
Knowledge and Experience developing Java Swing GUI applications

XML - Web Services Software/Systems Engineer responsible for implementing solutions for law enforcement. The ideal candidate will have the following related experience.

Vacation Policy
Our policy on vacations is two weeks after eight months, three weeks yearly until ten years of service and four weeks yearly thereafter.
Background Check
CPI has contracts with State, Federal and Local Law Enforcement Agencies. As a result of this activity CPI personnel come into contact with what is classified as sensitive data, including Criminal History Records and each employee must pass a background check. Failure to pass a background check is grounds for termination.
Sensitive Data Training
Each employee must agree to be trained in their responsibilities for the care and handling of sensitive information. CPI will periodically train its personnel in the care and handling of sensitive data and each employee must agree to follow the guidelines set by the Department of Justice policies and as clarified in the CPI training. Failure to do so is grounds for termination.
General Duties
Working for a small company usually means that everyone becomes involved in all aspects of the Company's business and this is certainly true at CPI. The work tasks range from marketing / pre-sales, demonstrations and presentations, requirements analysis, responding to Request For Proposals, customer training, documentation and of course, the support and cultivation of existing customers.
Office Work Schedule
Generally, our hours are listed as 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, with two breaks and a one-hour lunch period.
