Colorado Bureau of Investigation Realizes Benefits of User Acceptance Testing
Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had contracted with CPI in developing and implementing a new Web Service connecting the states Morpho AFIS and the OpenFox® Criminal History Records Application. As part of CBI extensive user acceptance testing, CBI chose to run Cold Case latent fingerprints against the OpenFox® Criminal History Records. In just a few days of testing, CBI has found matches on 8 burglaries and one 1990 homicide. Not only are they assuring the system works, they are getting valuable help in solving Cold Cases.
