Computer Projects of Illinois (CPI) and Idaho State Police (ISP) have successfully deployed the OpenFox® Sex Offender Registry 2.0 (SOR) to production.

Meridian/Boise – Idaho State Police celebrate the SOR 2.0 Cutover

On June 24th, CPI completed the design, development, installation, and implementation of the SOR 2.0 Application including utilities, interfaces, licenses, testing, and professional services to implement & deploy the replacement applications and information repositories.

The project was a refresh from the previously deployed CPI SOR version 1 and was concluded on time and on budget.

Highlights of the project included:

CPI created a new SOR database in Oracle version 12c and successfully executed the Data Mapping and Conversion
CPI rebuilt the Oracle DataGuard instance for the new SOR 2.0 application in Disaster Recovery.
Updated the SOR Application Configurations including any necessary changes to the OpenFox® Message Switch and installation of the Fennec Broker platform.
CPI replaced Idaho’s existing SOR admin client with version 2.0.
CPI implemented its patent-pending NCIC synchronization process using the Fennec Broker. This process was established using business protocols defined by the State’s data models and NCIC Standards. This process is coupled to the record save process for workflow enhancements.
CPI enhanced and redesigned Idaho’s custom reports.
CPI enhanced the processing and continues to provide all required data to support the current Idaho State website at the following URL: http://www.isp.idaho.gov/sor_id/.
