Maine State Police deploy At-Risk Hotfile

Maine State House, in Augusta, on a sunny day.

Maine State Police (MSP) and Computer Projects of Illinois, Inc (CPI) have implemented a searchable repository to alert first responders when assisting someone who may have a condition which could impact their ability to communicate or interact effectively.

CPI provided a searchable database and configured the OpenFox Message Switch to enable MSP METRO User’s to enter, query, and maintain At Risk Person records Hotfile. CPI’s work for the project included the following:

  • Created a new state only hotfile table
  • Configured a new messenger form to query the hotfile
  • Created input and response stylesheets to support new message keys
  • Configured a new file route, message keys and workflow to and from the hotfile
  • Provided design, discovery, testing and PM Services

CPI is very proud of our efforts on this project for MSP and our similar efforts with other clients to implement these types of “yellow flag” warning to responders.
